The award placed IAC on a pedestal with two of the nation's leading political Internet firms. Grassroots Enterprise was awarded the Gold Pollie Award for developing the Sierra Club Online Volunteer Phonebook. Mike McCurry, former Press Secretary for President Bill Clinton, is Chairman.

CASE 6 Educational Partner of the Year
IAC was nominated as the Educational Partner of the Year in 2004 by the members of CASE 6 for its years of dedicated participation and sharing of industry solutions to CASE members.
In presenting IAC the award, Mary Feller, Assistant VP of Development, Metropolitan State College of Denver, told the 500 industry professionals in attendance, “This year's recipient, Internet Association Corporation (IAC) has been providing colleges and universities with opportunities to communicate and network with alumni via the internet since 1995. For CASE, IAC developed a much needed volunteer tracking network that was first used by District II, and IAC is working with CASE headquarters to replicate this volunteer model in other districts. As Sherri Schmidt from North Dakota State wrote in her nomination letter, ‘many of us look to Don Philabaum for advice and counsel as we explore this new frontier in alumni relations, marketing and philanthropy.'” |
